Assistance Needed Please

OK,  I would like to make a confession. It has to do with weight. As an everyday walker of 10,000 or more steps I appreciate the health benefits of walking,  but up until today I have struggled with weight issues and for all my struggles I have missed on arriving at the correct method to resist over consumption and hence I carrying excess weight I wish   I no longer had.

Today I have taken control. First I acknowledged what I resist persist, so I am focusing on positive visualization of how I choose my body to be. Second I will accomplish this weight adjustment with a positive attitude and will allow myself to be an active participant in the successful outcome.

I think I get it but would sincerely appreciate any assistance or words of encouragement you might have. What have you done to lose weight, How are you keeping the weight off. How you did overcome impulses and struggles and what keeps you on task and in focus. Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes you take a walk, sometimes the walk takes you

Hiking along the Sunrise Side of Mt RainierA glorious late summer day hiking along the Sunrise side of Mt Rainier. Ever notice when one walks in the mountains the term is hiking while when in a more urban or suburban setting its walking?

According to Wikipedia walking is defined by an ‘inverted pendulum’ gait in which the body vaults over the stiff limb or limbs with each step. This applies regardless of the number of limbs – even arthropods with six, eight or more limbs.

Wikipedia defines Hiking is an outdoor activity which consists of walking in natural environments, often in mountainous or other scenic terrain. People often hike on hiking trails.

In this picture, this activity would definitely be considered hiking. Yes hiking, no doubt about it.
